Reports to:

Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

Develop detailed drawings from markups and other guidance provided Validate existing drawings and plant layouts to ensure clarity and accuracy in latest versions of drawings Interact and cooperate with internal stakeholders and project engineers to provide technical support Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel's performance) and report regularly on project status. Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions. Work hands-on in the manufacturing setting to facilitate projects until completion. Observe all safety rules and promote a safe working environment with team members. Compliance with all rules & policies regarding health safety, occupational safety, environmental safety, food safety, legal regulations, company requirements, etc. Compliance with the Company's Integrated Management Systems which includes, but is not limited to Production, Quality, Food Safety & GMP. Other duties as assigned.

Profile

Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline is required 1-3 years of CAD and Engineering experience is required Proficient in the use of AutoCAD Experience working in liquid or food manufacturing is an asset Ability to work with and manage projects in multiple disciplines Skill in organization, time management, and the ability to meet deadlines for multiple tasks Proficient in MS Office. Knowledge of MS Project is an asset Commitment to continuous improvement and quality of support and service Good interpersonal skills and communication skills to interact with all levels of management Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions NB: Successful candidates will be required to provide photo ID, banking details, a valid SIN number, and (if applicable) a valid work permit
