A Careers in Motion student will work with a dynamic team of business professionals within a Transportation and Logistics business unit. NBM Railways is currently seeking an Engineering Assistant Student to join our team. This position will be based in Saint John, New Brunswick.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize JD Edwards maintenance software to create and track requisitions, work orders, and inventory transactions.
• Support company digitization strategy, working closely with Divisional IT and GIS resources.
• Assist with project planning, budgeting, and tracking production metrics for internal and external customer projects.
• Actively participate in ongoing continuous improvement and standardization initiatives.
• Opportunity to spend time in the office and in field.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in Bachelor of Engineering undergraduate degree program.
• Previous project, process improvement, and field experience considered an asset.
• Positive academic standing.
• Competent in MS Office.
• High energy, enthusiastic team player.
