What's the Job?
Location: North York or Chatham, ON
Work Model: Hybrid (Onsite Mon/Tues/Thurs, Remote Wed/Fri)
Duration: 1 year (possible extension to 17 months)
Role Overview:
The Engineering Analyst II will support pipeline risk analysis and integrity management through data modeling, software implementation, and statistical assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct quantitative risk analysis of transmission/distribution pipelines.
- Support integrity software implementation and modeling.
- Perform root cause analysis and risk refinement.
- Apply engineering statistics and simulations for decision support.
- Engineering degree with 2+ years of experience.
- Experience in QRAs (FTA, ETA, consequence analysis).
- Background in pipeline/station engineering, integrity management.
- Skills in analytical/statistical modeling, data science, machine learning.
- Proficiency in coding languages (SQL, VB, Python).
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
