Further information is available at .POSITION SUMMARYReporting to the Vehicle Applications Engineering Manager and as a key member of the Engineering department, this position is responsible for providing daily administrative support to the Production Engineering teams.WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Update and maintain the Product Data Management Schedule with new Sales Releases (SRxe2x80x99s) and changes.
  • Create Master Item Release for new SRxe2x80x99s to be entered into Oracle (MRP system).
  • Create Engineering Change Orders for new SRxe2x80x99s and for change quantities.
  • Track personnel notifications and requisitions for hiring, resignations, title changes, etc.
  • Ensure accuracy of employee lists by group, organizational charts, and seating arrangements.
  • Maintain employee job descriptions and performance reviews.
  • Arrange and prepare travel for several departments, including flights, car rentals, hotel, etc.
  • Review expense reports for accuracy and submit for authorization and process of payment.
  • Arrange meetings and coordinate meeting rooms.
  • Prepare department purchase requisitions, and order department stationary supplies.
  • Run various reports for the Vehicle Applications Engineering group.
  • Coordinate office layout changes.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
  • Completion of an administrative diploma, administrative training, and/or related education required.
  • Three to five yearsxe2x80x99 experience in an Administrative Assistant position in a fast-paced environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Suite products (e.g. Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to converse in a professional manner to all levels of the organization.
  • A motivated self-starter with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Prior working knowledge of excel macro applications would be considered an asset.
