Our team has an immediate 12-month contract opening for an Engineer - Microwave Photonics Research.

Responsibilities:

Simulate, analyze, and design different microwave photonics systems
Propose different architectures, components, and algorithms to address the challenging requirements of our computing platforms
Model microwave photonics platforms numerically and analytically
Work in collaboration with other silicon photonics designers to design and test different architectures
Proactively work to achieve challenging goals and create IP by innovative designs and architectures
Produce documentation and technical reviews

What you\'ll bring to the team:

MSc in electrical engineering, physics or relevant discipline
3+ years of research experience in microwave photonics
Proficiency in photonic simulation tools such as Lumerical, COMSOL, Photon Design
Excellent programming skills (Python/C)
Motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
Good teamwork spirit and adaptability
Thrive in a dynamic, innovative, research and prototyping oriented environment
General knowledge of machine learning techniques and/or wireless systems
