Job Title: Senior Measurement Technical Advisor
Location: Calgary, AB
Shift: Hybrid (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday in office)
Our client is seeking a Senior Measurement Technical Advisor to join their team. As a Senior Measurement Technical Advisor, you will be part of the Measurement Engineering department supporting field operations and project teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, which will align successfully in the organization.
:

  • Provide senior-level technical support for measurement assets and processes in the Northwest Regions.
  • Guide the design, operation, and troubleshooting of meter stations, gas quality, pressure control, and linebreak systems.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards through planning and oversight of measurement activities.
  • Develop and enforce gas quality programs, including standards, procedures, and reporting.
  • Support project development by developing business cases, performing technical calculations, and liaising with external vendors and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Related university degree in a technical discipline and 7+ years of experience, or 10+ years of field operations measurement experience.
  • Experience with measurement equipment in the natural gas industry is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., CSA, AGA, API, GPA) and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to establish effective relationships and influence stakeholders without authority.
