The role supports the Intermodal team in delivering infrastructure and technological improvements across various aspects of its operations, by interpreting the needs and requirements of various functions within the organization. The position can serve as a development opportunity for the Manager Intermodal Development role.Main ResponsibilitiesProject Development and Managementxc2xb7 Evaluate, plan, and execute mid-level initiatives and construction projects that improve Intermodal operational practices, efficiencies, and capacitiesxc2xb7 Influence key stakeholders and build consensus to support effective project deliveryxc2xb7 Coordinate with customers, developers, and engineering consultants, providing technical assistance and supportTechnical Innovation, Process Analysis, and Evaluationxc2xb7 Recommend process improvements based on analysis of operating metrics and an understanding of the industryxc2xb7 Use models and marketing forecasts to evaluate the need for capacity and assets as well as recommend solutionsxc2xb7 Assist in the evaluation and development of emerging technological innovations and decarbonization initiativesWorking ConditionsThe role is performed in a combination of office environment and outdoors in various environmental and weather conditions with a regular workweek from Monday to Friday.
