Position Overview:




As a Project Associate within our Building Restoration Consulting Team, you'll play a vital part in delivering outstanding service and solutions to our clients. You'll be immersed in a collaborative environment and gain hands-on experience in a range of project phases while representing Sense Engineering with a level of professionalism and dedication that sets us apart in the industry.


General Responsibilities:




Attitude: Exhibit a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team spirit. Take ownership of your work and focus on providing solutions. Marketing: Represent Sense Engineering professionally, building positive relationships with clients, contractors and other consultants. Knowledge Development: Enhance your understanding of building science, life cycle analysis and costing while sharing insights and lessons learned with the team.

Technical Responsibilities:




Assist in building evaluations, site reviews, and investigations. Support project coordination and contribute to successful project delivery. Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure seamless communication. Prepare evaluation reports, construction documents, and project proposals. Represent Senseat client meetings and other networking functions with a commitment to exceptional service standards. Other duties as assigned/required.

What We're Looking For:




Bachelor's degree in Building Science, Restoration Engineering, Architectural Engineering or a related field. Registered with or eligible for registration with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO). Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal). Good working knowledge of MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Strong work ethic and attention to detail coupled with a client-centric mindset. Team player who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to creative thinking and approaching challenges from fresh perspectives, with a strong commitment to continuous learning and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing within the organization. Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation required.
