Overview

As the Engineer In Test Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be accountable for RAZR\xe2\x80\x99s test automation posture, standards, and processes while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including stake-holders from product management, development, and quality assurance, to drive quality during the successful delivery of our agile roadmap. Your expertise in test strategy, automation, and leadership will be essential in maintaining a robust testing framework and fostering a culture of quality within the organization.

We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for someone who can help RAZR by working closely with multiple agile teams to ensure that test automation and coverage are being made an integral part of our software development life-cycle. An ideal candidate for this role is someone who can define best practices and effectively communicate them to both the software engineers executing against them as well as the product and business stakeholders who manage the timelines.

What you love to do

Test Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive test strategy, test plans, and test cases to ensure thorough test coverage for various software applications and products.

Collaboration: Work closely with agile teams to understand product requirements and technical designs, promoting early involvement in the testing process, and ensuring acceptance criteria traceability.

Test Automation: Drive the development and implementation of automated test suites, ensuring that they are efficient, maintainable, and scalable.

Test Execution: Oversee the execution of tests, both manual and automated (preferably mostly the later), to identify defects and ensure the overall quality of the software products.

Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance the test process, methodologies, and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness in software testing.

Issue Tracking: Monitor, track, and report on the status of defects, working with the agile team to facilitate timely resolution.

Performance Testing: Collaborate with agile teams to ensure software products can handle varying loads, perform optimally, and deliver all non-functional requirements.

Release Management: Participate in release process by ensuring that our CI/CD pipelines execute appropriate tests and maintain sufficient test coverage.

Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality standards, processes, and best practices across all agile teams.

Qualifications

5+ years experience delivering high-quality, production ready enterprise applications

Typescript based test automation/development exposure and familiarity with common 3rd party libraries and frameworks

Java based test automation/development exposure and familiarity with common 3rd party libraries and frameworks

Ability to discuss topics related to relational databases, Object Oriented design principles, RESTful web services and service oriented architecture
