Primary Accountabilities

This position is responsible for supporting ongoing departmental and branch communications, as well as the coordination of various departmental programs. Responsibilities include assisting in the drafting of department-wide communications, building communication capacity within the department, supporting engagement activities, as well as providing ongoing support for the various programs that we offer.

As a key member of the EEB team, you will work from an equity and inclusion lens and ensure all engagement and communications are inclusive of the department and the people we serve. You will work in a highly collaborative and energetic environment and will carry out the day-to-day functions with minimal direction.

This role reports directly to the Organizational Health Strategist.

The functions of this role include the following, but are not limited to:

  • Internal Communications - You will support branch staff in the development of various communications for senior leadership, ensuring alignment with corporate messaging. This work includes drafting department-wide emails, speaking notes for senior leadership, and various program documents.
  • Program Development and Maintenance - You will assist in the development of program resources, as well as program implementation, facilitation, and maintenance, including but not limited to our Mentorship Program, Wellness Program, and Onboarding/New Employee Orientation Program.
  • Evaluation and Monitoring - As part of our program maintenance, you will analyze and provide program recommendations through reports and advice to management. You will develop program plans, update program(s), and draft program evaluations using such tools/programs/platforms as Microsoft Forms or Select Survey.
  • Research - You will assist in the development of informational material (guides, manuals, etc.) related to current research and ongoing trends with respect to equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility.
  • Working Group/Committee Support - You will represent the department on working groups and/or committees in support of the departmental goals and objectives.
Qualifications and Experience

As the successful candidate, you will have a bachelor\'s degree plus at least 1 year related experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

You will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong attention to detail. You will have advanced knowledge and experience in the development of communication tools.

You will be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Products, specifically in Microsoft Teams, Forms, Excel, and PowerPoint. You will have experience with survey development and analysis. You will also be skilled in preparing formal reports for review by senior leadership teams.

You are decisive and demonstrate well-developed analytical/problem solving. You are detail oriented and are a collaborative team player who establishes and maintains effective working relationships with your colleagues and partners.

We will assess the above qualifications and competencies using one or more of the following tools: written examination, standardized tests, oral presentations, interview(s), and reference checks.

Pay Grade: PR 06 - PR 10

Salary Range: $1,915.37 - $2,746.69 Bi-Weekly
