Energy Manager / Network Technician

The Opportunity

We're looking for a technically strong Energy Manager / Network Technician with project coordination and project management responsibilities. This role supports the installation, commissioning, and delivery of energy monitoring and management projects from kickoff through completion.

This position is ideal for someone with a networking or technical background who wants to grow into energy management, energy auditing, and project leadership.

What You'll Do

Install, configure, and commission energy monitoring hardware and software Provide on-site and remote network technician support Configure and troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, cellular, and device communications with EMIS system Coordinate and manage project timelines, site visits, and installations Work with vendors, contractors, utilities, and internal stakeholders Support EMIS (Energy Management Information Systems) deployments Ensure reliable, secure data flow from field devices to analytics platforms Maintain project documentation, device inventories, and network diagrams Participate in energy audits and performance reviews (training provided)*

Energy management and energy auditor training will be provided

What You Bring

Experience as a Network Technician, Controls Technician, or similar role Strong understanding of networking fundamentals Hands-on experience with hardware/software and installation and commissioning Demonstrated project coordination or project management skills Strong communication and organizational abilities Ability to work independently Valid driver's license and ability to travel

Nice to Have

Experience with HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, or building automation Experience managing multi-site or phased technical projects Familiarity with IoT devices, sensors, and analytics platforms Interest in energy efficiency and sustainability
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $54,971.40-$119,852.12 per year
