Event Team Lead - Community Events (Part-Time, Contract)

June-September 2025 (10 event days + training)

Hourly Wage:

$21/hour + mileage reimbursement

We are looking for a reliable and proactive

Event Team Lead

to join our Energy & Water Education Event Team in Saskatoon! In this hands-on role, you'll take charge of setting up and transporting event equipment, coordinating with Event Representatives, and ensuring smooth on-site execution at festivals and fairs across the city.

Key Responsibilities:



Transport all event materials (tent, signage, supplies) to and from event locations using your own vehicle (SUV or truck required) Set up and dismantle the event booth and activities area Ensure all team members have the materials, support, and direction needed to successfully engage with the public Step in as needed to assist with attendee engagement, especially during peak periods Store event materials securely between event days Provide feedback to the program manager after each event Attend mandatory paid virtual training

Qualifications:



Responsible, punctual, and highly organized with strong problem-solving skills Comfortable managing logistics and leading small teams Outgoing and approachable, with strong communication and interpersonal skills Must have a reliable

truck or large SUV

capable of transporting event gear Ability to

store event equipment

between events Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs and perform manual setup/tear down Available for all event days between

June and September 2025

Interest in environmental education, sustainability, or public outreach is a strong asset

- 1 Day (Mid-September)
