Job Overview
As an Energy Concierge at SwitchPACE CIC, you will support homeowners interested in improving the energy efficiency of their homes by providing clear, friendly, and knowledgeable guidance on energy efficiency upgrades, solar, and beneficial electrification. Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) financing is central to SwitchPACE's programs, which are currently operating in Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia, with additional programs launching soon. This public-facing role is ideal for a strong communicator with excellent organizational skills who enjoys working directly with homeowners, colleagues, and community partners. Energy Concierges help homeowners understand their options, make informed design decisions, and confidently navigate the upgrade process from start to finish, delivering a professional and positive customer experience while contributing to community decarbonization, cost savings for residents, and local economic growth.

Position Duties
Our highest priority is to keep things simple for property owners. This role is very people focused.
Corresponding with and supporting property owners through the entire energy upgrade process.
Project administration and follow-up, involving data gathering, entry & processing, document control, measurement, verification & reporting.
Stakeholder engagement (e.g. FCM, municipalities, contractors, efficiency organizations).
Organizing and supporting community and stakeholder engagement activities related to energy, climate change and energy upgrade financing.
Research into energy policies, programs and industry activity across Canada.
Other duties as assigned.
Selection Criteria:
Post secondary education in business, sustainability or engineering, or equivalent experience.
Energy efficiency and renewable energy background preferred, particularly in the residential sector, with familiarity of energy incentive programs in NS, PE and/or ON.
High level of proficiency in both verbal and written communications.
Kind, approachable, accommodating and customer-centric personality.
Energy related certifications or designations, such as Energy Adviser or CEM are considered assets.
Bilingualism an asset.
