About the Role:




As a CBRE Energy Analyst, you will assist in supporting the implementation of energy initiatives for a small to medium-sized site, region, or account. This job is part of the Energy and Sustainability function. They are responsible for the development and implementation of environmental and social sustainability programs.

What You'll Do:




Data Collection & Validation

Collect and validate utility data (electricity, gas, water, fuels), waste/recycling, and GHG-related metrics across client sites. Maintain, review, and evaluate utility bill data. Prepare monthly variance and energy service status reports. Identify cost savings opportunities and budgets for utilities.

Data Analysis & Insights

Analyze energy and sustainability data to identify trends, anomalies, and savings opportunities. Compare performance against industry benchmarks and internal targets, providing variance analysis and commentary. Model energy and GHG emissions scenarios for specific projects and programs.

Sustainability Program Support

Support the development and execution of energy management programs and improvement of client KPIs. Assist in sustainability consulting for a facility to help meet sustainability goals Support sustainability goals, energy resilience strategies, and programs.

Reporting Support

Present periodic energy and sustainability status and variance reports. Support data requests from clients ensuring data accuracy and integrity for reporting.

Other duties as assigned.



What You'll Need:



Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 2 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of 2+ years of experience and education will be considered. Has some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience of applying them. Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems. Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset. Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations. Ability to work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
