DC circuits, Kirchoff's voltage and current laws, equivalent circuits, introduction to mesh and nodal methods, superposition, maximum power transfer, capacitors,inductors, transient analysis of RL and RC circuits, introduction to AC steadystate analysis, introduction to electrical safety in engineering.
Position Requirements
A minimum of a Bachelor of Applied Science or Bachelor of Engineering degree. A P.Eng. designation is preferred.
Applicants will have related experience appropriate to the content in the course description as listed above.
Previous teaching experience at a post secondary educational institution is an asset.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and presentation skills.
Submission of a one page statement of teaching philosophy as it relates to the course.
