Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Endoscopy Sterilization Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all scopes instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and maintained according to industry standards. Your attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols will play a crucial role in supporting our dental practice and ensuring the health and safety of our patients.
Duties
Perform sterilization of scopes using autoclaves and other sterilization equipment. Operate and maintain sterilization equipment and washers. Perform leak testing, inspection, and proper storage of scopes. Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control guideline. Follow all safety and quality control procedures.
Qualifications
Previous experience in endoscopy reprocessing or central sterilization preferred. Knowledge of infection control standards and sterilization procedures. Certification in Medical Device Reprocessing or sterile processing(a asset). Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00-$24.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
