Posting EMT24039 Teacher - Junior High French /Options Probationary - August 22, 2023 - June 27, 2024 Location \xc3\x89cole McTavish High School FTE 1.0 Start Date August 22, 2023 Closing Date June 7, 2023 Westwood Community High School is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our instructional team in the role of Junior High French /Options. Requirements: Bachelor of Education and must be Fluent in French Desired Qualifications/Skills: It will be an asset to have:
  • Knowledge of teaching core classes in French and Englishat the junior high level.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with staff and parents
  • A base knowledge of differentiated instruction techniques.
  • Effective organization skills and classroom management.
  • Ability to utilize technology as an instructional tool.
  • An ability to design and implement Individual Program Plans for special needs students.
  • A willingness to participate in the school community beyond the classroom.
  • An interest in teaching a wide variety of electives
  • A commitment to continuous professional growth.
  • A strong ability to connect and build relationships with junior high school students.
  • Open to teaching a variety of options that best suit the successful applicant.
