Collaborative Health Record (CHR) Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system

, ensuring seamless system functionality, optimizing workflows, and empowering users through training and support. This role is vital in

troubleshooting, configuration, and training development for new users

Your Impact



System Optimization & Configuration

: Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot

EMR workflows

to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.

Training & Support

: Develop

EMR training

for new users, ensuring staff with varying levels of expertise have the skills and confidence to navigate the system effectively.

Data Integrity & Reporting

: Create and maintain

standardized templates, forms, and data extraction processes

to support accurate reporting and quality improvement.

Privacy & Compliance

: Ensure all EMR processes align with

privacy regulations and compliance standards

.

Cross-Team Collaboration

: Work closely with

clinical and program teams

to align EMR workflows with care pathways, improving

team-based and integrated care

.

Key Responsibilities



Support

system configuration, user account creation, and troubleshooting

for end-users within the Collaborative Health Record EMR system. Configure

data capture tools, searches, and reporting functions

to meet organizational needs. Identify and resolve

data quality issues

, ensuring accuracy and consistency across programs. Develop and deliver

training programs

tailored to diverse users, ensuring ease of adoption and efficiency. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of

EMR system updates

and communicate relevant changes to staff. Work with teams to develop

standardized workflows, procedures, and EMR best practices

. Act as the

primary contact for EMR troubleshooting

, collaborating with end users and support personnel to resolve issues efficiently.

What You Bring



Required Qualifications:



University Degree or College Diploma

in Computer Science, IT or Health Information Management or a related field or equivalent experience (preferably in health disciplines).

Primary care Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience

, with hands-on expertise in

CHR or a similar EMR system

. Proven ability to translate

clinical pathways and guidelines into EMR workflows,

operating with end to end user experience in mind. Experience with

data capture, extraction, and reporting processes

. Strong background in

mentoring or training users

on EMR systems.

Attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills

.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

(Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Preferred Qualifications:



Experience working in a

community clinic or non-profit healthcare setting

. Previous experience as a

trainer, or facilitator

. Familiarity with

Quality Improvement (QI) methods and principles

.
