One full-time contract Employment and Mental Wellness Advisor position available, starting on November 24, 2025, and ending on May 29, 2026, working 37.5 hours per week.

Your Role:
Conducts intake and assessments of individuals to determine their employment barriers, strengths, skills and interests as well as eligibility and suitability for the program.
Creates individualized service plans that address employment, education, mental health, housing, and other supports as needed.
Provides mental wellness support and strategies to support youth in participating in programming and in labour market.
Provides service coordination, and linkage to community services for participants experiencing barriers to employment, including mental health challenges.
Facilitates workshops and provides one-to-one support to clients.
Supports clients to maintain positive life and work behaviours.
Delivers and tracks participant supports.
Coordinates case management functions to ensure the client's successful transition into the labour market.
Works in alignment with the Agency's commitment to equity to further create a sense of belonging at the Agency.

Your Talents and Experience:
Degree or diploma in social sciences, social work, or related experience in a community based, not-for-profit organization.
Minimum 3 years' experience working with high barriered youth.
Must have in-depth knowledge and relevant experience supporting youth with their mental health.
Must have knowledge of community resources and local mental health, educational, housing systems.
Must demonstrate commitment to adaptability as processes and procedures evolve over time and embrace technology and the transition to offering more virtual services.
Required to perform well in a fast paced, ever evolving and results oriented environment.
Strong communication, customer service and organizational skills are essential.
Some evening work will be required. Weekend work may be required.
Working knowledge of MS Office and various social media platforms.
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are essential for this position.
