RESPONSIBILITES:
Maintains efficient and accurate day-to-day scheduling of employees, ensuring accuracy of data, skills mix and compliance with all relevant legislative regulations, collective agreements, and policies; provides recommendations to management on best practices and fiscally responsible options to ensure daily safe staffing quotas are met
Understands the scheduling requirements of all applicable Collective Agreements and proactively identifies scheduling anomalies that are potential violations of these agreements for action by unit managers
Supports management of email inboxes to provide responses, guidance, and resolution to employees and leaders on scheduling provisions, prioritizing positive client experience
Promotes a productive and efficient team environment where Human Resources staff are recognized as highly regarded and trusted sources
Demonstrates QCH values: collaboration, accountability, respect, innovation

REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 12 or equivalent education required
Minimum of one year current experience in staffing and scheduling or 3 years in Human Resources in the public sector
Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment with frequent disruptions
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
PREFERRED

Experience working with HRIS scheduling software and auto-caller platforms
