As the Employee Relations Partner you will consult on a range of employee relations matters within your assigned business area. You will provide guidance on performance management and conflict resolution, conduct workplace investigations, and work with key stakeholders to ensure positive employee relations.


How you will create impact:




Providing day-to-day employee relations advice and support on a variety of practices, including coaching on conflict resolution, performance management, and policy interpretation. Developing and implementing proactive employee relations strategies that foster a positive work environment and a high-performance culture. Conducting workplace investigations, ensuring matters are resolved in a timely manner and in alignment with employment standards and best practices. Building key relationships and networks with leaders and employees by championing employee relations strategies, programs and practices. Identifying and implementing process improvements to ensure our employee relations centre of excellence is aligned with strategic objectives and industry best practice. Analyze employee relations data and trends to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to leadership.

How you will succeed:




You have five years of experience in Employee Relations or five years leadership experience dealing with complex employee relations matters. You have a post-secondary degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce or a related discipline. You have expert knowledge of employment law including, Employment Standards, Human Rights legislation and Occupational Health and Safety. You have experience conducting workplace investigations and writing investigation reports. Having the Chartered Professionals in Human Resources (CPHR) or Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation(s) an asset. Proficiency in English is essential to the main duties in this role, including servicing and communicating primarily with majority non-francophone clients, groups, teams. Drafting complex English documents and preparing daily reports for anglophone leaders. The essential non-French duties are not assignable to adjacent or other team members.
