As our Employee Experience Coordinator, you'll support the day-to-day operations that help our people feel supported, informed, and set up for success -- while contributing to a welcoming, people-first workplace.
About the Role
This is a newly created, on-site position supporting the Employee Experience department at Nita Lake Lodge. Working closely with the Director of Employee Experience, the Employee Experience Coordinator will provide administrative and operational support across the employee lifecycle.
Payroll administration will be an initial area of focus, with the role continuing to evolve over time based on operational needs and department priorities. This position is well suited for someone who is adaptable, highly organized, and comfortable supporting a growing function.
What You'll Do
Provide administrative support with payroll processes, including collecting and organizing payroll-related documentation and supporting accuracy and timelines
Assist with recruitment coordination, posting roles, and onboarding documentation
Support and help deliver new hire orientation sessions
Maintain accurate HR records, forms, and digital files
Support the Joint Health & Safety Committee and health & safety initiatives
Assist with employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and company events
Support the day-to-day administration of staff housing, including move-ins, agreements, inspections, and recordkeeping
Provide general administrative and project support to the Director of Employee Experience
Take on additional responsibilities as the role and department continue to develop
What You Bring
2+ years of experience in HR, administration, payroll support, or a related role (hospitality experience an asset)
Strong attention to detail and comfort working with confidential information
Excellent organizational and communication skills
A flexible, proactive approach and willingness to learn and grow with the role
Familiarity with BC Employment Standards and WorkSafeBC is an asset
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR or payroll systems
Current First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
