TITLE OF POSITION:

Employee & Client Assistance Team Member (ECAT) - Casual Relief

POSITION LOCATION:

Edmonton West end

Hours: Saturday and Sundays 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm and overnights 11pm-7am Monday through Sunday or Monday through Friday 5pm-11pm

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide employees with staff support when contacted by the employee.

Assist employees in dealing with critical situations, emergencies, etc.

Schedule employees to fill relief shifts & provide information for shift assignment.

Provide clients with support as needed when contacted by client.

Effectively implement behavior intervention as required.

Effective use of ICE computer programs.

REQUIREMENTS:

Health Care or Social Sciences Certification

Knowledge of all I.C.E. policies and procedures

Knowledge of computer data entry (20wpm) and professional telephone usage

required.

Experience in community rehabilitation

desired.

Ability to deal with stressful situations proactively

required.

Ability to work well independently and as a team member

required.

Attention to detail and ability to speak and write in English

required.

Personal care skills and experience with developmental disabilities and behaviors

required.

Must have Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Information Check dated within the last 6 months.

Required before commencing employment.

Pay: $20.51 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 4 per week
