Our fast-growing benefits consulting business is seeking an experienced Group Benefits Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of administering group benefits plans for multiple insurance carriers, as well as a strong ability to organize and streamline the administration process. Responsibilities:

  • Streamline and simplify the current administrative process for all existing clients.
  • Improve existing processes and procedures to client satisfaction.
  • Administer group benefits plans for multiple insurance carriers, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, in compliance with Canadian regulations and requirements.
  • Manage employee enrolment and eligibility processes, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
  • Respond to employee inquiries and resolve issues related to benefits plans.Our company is looking for an Administrator to help coordinate the company\'s benefit offerings and make sure all employees are taking advantage of our programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring all health, vision and dental benefits and determining if coverage is being utilized properly by employees. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, has excellent communication skills and who will work well with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and resolve issues related to benefits plans.
  • Coordinate with insurance carriers to ensure accurate billing and timely payment of premiums.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with insurance carriers, vendors, and other stakeholders in Canada and abroad.
  • Conduct regular audits of benefits plans to ensure compliance with company policies and Canadian regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of new benefits programs and policies in compliance with Canadian regulations.
  • Provide support and guidance to other members of the benefits administration team.
  • Prepare market surveys under the guidance a consultant.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in business, human resources, or a related field OR Equivalent in Experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in group benefits administration, with a focus on managing plans through multiple insurance carriers.
  • Knowledge of relevant Canadian laws and regulations related to employee benefits and life insurance, including the Canadian Human Rights Act, Employment Insurance Act, and Canada Pension Plan.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
