As an Emergency Medical Responder, you will play a critical role in providing immediate medical care to patients in emergency situations. You will be responsible for assessing patients' conditions, administering necessary treatments, and transporting them to medical facilities. This position requires quick thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Requirements:
- Valid Class-B Attendant Certificate
- Ability to work long shifts (10-12 hours daily)
- Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first aid treatment and medical care to injured or ill workers in accordance with provincial standards and company procedures.
- Maintain the site's first aid room, equipment, and medical supplies in a clean and ready state at all times.
- Complete incident and treatment records accurately and confidentially.
- Perform confined space standby (Class-B Attendant) duties, including continuous monitoring of personnel working in confined spaces.
- Initiate emergency response procedures when necessary, including contacting EMS and assisting with evacuation or rescue if required.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
