Your primary role will be the analysis, design, development, implementation and maintenance of automated tests and test infrastructure for ESCRYPT's SoC Security Software stack. This software provides security solutions that keep automotive computing safe and secure, and are a vital part of the next generation of smart vehicles. You will be responsible for creating great automated solutions for development and production, ensuring the deliverables are efficient and of quality. You will follow industry best-practices for embedded software QA to create secure, efficient, maintainable and high quality solutions.

Day to day activities will include
  • Design, develop and execute test automation and infrastructure
  • Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback from a testing perspective
  • Create test design documentation including test specifications, diagrams, and verification plans
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
  • Identify, record, document and track bugs
  • Liaise with the team (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
  • Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and become an advocate for the customer in ensuring top tier quality
  • Track quality assurance metrics to help make data driven quality related decisions
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
Qualifications
  • Proven work experience in software quality assurance
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Knowledge/experience with C and C++ 11 (and up)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or combination of education and relevant experience; 3-5 years+ experience
