Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Communication Specialist to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for shaping and implementing effective email strategies, ensuring seamless integration with broader marketing communications goals, managing and sending all outbound email using Klaviyo. You must have a passion for crafting compelling messages, analyzing campaign performance, and optimizing for impactful results in the realm of email marketing. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, leveraging a wide range of digital marketing tools and techniques. The successful applicant will have a strong background in digital marketing, graphic design, and analytics, with the ability to create compelling content that resonates with target audiences.

Duties

Develop and execute comprehensive email marketing strategies aligned with broader marketing communications objectives. Craft compelling and personalized email campaigns from concept to implementation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communications channels. Generate persuasive and compelling email copy tailored to resonate with the target audience. Conduct A/B testing and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of email campaigns. Utilize customer segmentation strategies to target campaigns based on audience characteristics and behaviour. Stay informed about industry best practices and legal requirements related to email marketing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE

1-2 years of proven experience in email marketing communications with a focus on successful email campaigns. Familiarity with email marketing platforms and marketing automation tools like MailChimp, Klaviyo etc. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. The Following attributes will be favourable: Bachelor's degree in marketing or relevant field, and/or Experience in HTML/CSS/JavaScript
