Are you committed to protecting your community? Blackbird Security is seeking to hire Suit & Tie Elite Security Guards in the Lower Mainland, BC for various high-profile events and high-end retail sites. This is an On-call / Casual opportunity that has the potential to lead to full-time employment.
What you will do
- Provide superior customer service our client and site patrons.
- Establish a strong security presence to deter crime and theft
- Identify, monitor and approach subjects who may have unpaid merchandise
- Document theft and other security violations
- Patrol the premises, provide access control and respond to emergency situations in an appropriate and timely manner
- Perform safety and security duties with the highest standards of professionalism and integrity
- Complete incident reports and required documentation for all security incidents
- Identify potential security risks and respond accordingly
- Respond to emergencies and escalate to law enforcement agencies as required
- A Valid Security License
- A keen interest in asset protection
- Willing to stand/ patrol for the duration of the shift
- Previous security and customer service experience.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

- Security: 1 year (required)
- Retail Security: 1 year (preferred)
- English (required)
- Advanced Security License (preferred)
- Driving Licence (preferred)
- Security Guard Licence (required)

- Night Shift (preferred)
