As the Grain Elevator Operator, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting all aspects of operations at the facility.

Your day to day activities will include:

• Operation and maintenance of various elevator related equipment
• Support all facility operations, as needed
• Unload & load grain trucks and railcars
• Complete paperwork and compile online documentation in support of facility operations
• Other duties as assigned which may include seasonal maintenance and landscaping

The successful candidate should enter the position with the following qualifications:

• Previous experience as a general labourer
• As an Elevator Operator, essential duties will include bending, kneeling, climbing (ladders and stairs) and the ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Previous experience within an agricultural environment and/or experience with heavy equipment is an asset
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Previous experience entering data using Microsoft Excel, along with the internet is required (or ability to learn)
