Job Description

iGuide Academy is looking for committed and passionate part time Tutor/Teacher qualified to teach students from grade 1 to 8. The position is for in-person tutoring in the center. Classes are usually from Monday to Thursday from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM and/or Saturday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Ideal candidate for the position should possess the following skills:

Some of the responsibilities include:

Helping students to set goals for themselves and motivating them to achieve those goals with praise and rewards Creating, conducting and grading realistic practice tests and providing feedback on student performance Distributing informative study guides and other teaching materials Recording information about students or groups of students and making notes about their lesson plans and progress.
Ideal candidate for the position should possess the following:

Ontario Certified Teacher is an asset. University Graduate with experience in either teaching or tutoring. Previous experience working with students is an asset Excellent English oral and written skills. Passionate to help students reach their full potential. Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask. Ability to teach groups of up to 3 students.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
