Aurora Montessori School is a co-educational Montessori private school located in the heart of Aurora, Ontario on 14 acres of natural conservation lands. AMS delivers robust Montessori programming to students aged Toddler to Grade 8 in a 36,000 sq. ft facility with multiple state-of-the-art playground areas, an outdoor amphitheatre and outdoor classroom, a gymnasium with a performance stage, and so much more.

developing a sense of self and inspiring them to act on their ambitions. By adhering to the core principles, philosophies, and pedagogy of Dr. Maria Montessori, we are devoted to each child's intellectual, emotional, social, spiritual, and physical development.

Aurora Montessori School is seeking Montessori or OCT educators to supply teach in our Elementary classrooms. We seek dynamic, kind-hearted teachers who love to work with children and whose primary goal is to nurture and inspire each child.

This position is ideal for Montessori/OCT educators looking to work part-time and flexibly for the

2025-2026 academic year.

REQUIREMENTS

o Montessori Elementary Diploma (6-12 years) from a MACTE accredited or AMI training centre and/or must be certified, and in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers. We welcome teacher

candidates to apply with a Transitional Certificate.

o Follow the school's policies and procedures

o Self-starter with high energy, flexibility, initiative, and the ability to multi-task

o Experience working collaboratively as part of a team

o Excellent interpersonal skills

o Strong oral and written skills

o Current Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)

o Current Standard First Aid and CPR/AED Level C
