Position Summary:



We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Elementary Music Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate weekly music lessons to students from Kindergarten through Grade 5. In addition to classroom instruction, the teacher will assist with school productions, contribute to school life through supervision duties, classroom coverage, and extracurricular activities, and support the technical audio/video needs of performances and events.

You gather, document and analyze evidence of learning from various sources and use this to identify targets and action steps for improving learning. Evidence enables you to make secure judgments about your students' learning in line with their personal learning goals, age and stage appropriate expectations, and local, national and international benchmarking. You document and share evidence of learning to answer the questions: "What are my students learning?" and "How do I know?".

: Physical Education Teacher Lynn-Rose School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Physical Education Teacher to join our team, and lead our elementary physical education programme. The role will teach weekly gym classes to our Kindergarten to Grade 5 students, delivering an engaging curriculum that promotes physical fitness and good sportsmanship. The successful candidate will also lead and work with our students in competitive sports teams.

Key Responsibilities:



? Plan and deliver weekly music lessons for students in Kindergarten to Grade 5

? Conduct assessments and complete term end reporting

? Foster a love of music and encourage creative expression through singing, movement, instruments, and rhythm-based activities.

? Support school productions, concerts, and assemblies (e.g., rehearsals, student preparation, stage setup).

? Operate and manage AV and sound equipment (e.g., microphones, speakers, mixers) for school performances and events.

? Collaborate with homeroom and specialist teachers to support integrated learning where appropriate.

? Assist with student supervision through regular duty rotations and classroom coverage as needed

? Plan and deliver extracurricular programs or clubs

? Maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging learning environment.

? Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS



? Bachelor's degree in Music Education or a related field (an asset).

? Teaching certification or equivalent (preferred).

? Experience teaching music at the elementary level.

? Working knowledge of AV and sound equipment for school performances.

? Strong classroom management and communication skills.

? Team player with a flexible and positive attitude.
