Job Summary

Contribute to the cost-effective design of product hardware platforms, obtain their certification, and ensure their optimal production launch.*Available to work at least 4 days per week on-site in Brossard (Fridays are flexible).

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

Activities related to printed circuit board design




Participate in the conceptual design of the project

Research and validate technical solutions

Participate in the design of the product's electronic schematic and have it validated

Ensure technical contact for implementation/routing, as well as mechanical design, with subcontractors on developments

Participate in the validation and certification of prototypes

Contribute to testing procedures for developments

Contribute to the routing of electronic boards

Support the Production Technology team when necessary

Communicate with external partners during development

Activities related to maintaining existing products in production condition





Research and validate substitute components at the request of the Manager

Participate in the analysis of production contingencies at the subcontractor and propose solutions

Propose product optimization (cost, functionality, etc.)

Activities related to Production Support, Technical Support, and Technical Writing




Analyze technical issues (via internal audits or the client) and propose solutions at the request of the Manager

Document TINs (Technical Issues Notices) at the request of the Manager

Transmit technical information about products to the Technical Writing Department.

Electronics expertise (component calculations and selection, schematic creation, routing control, product validation) Experience with routing using Orcad. Knowledge of EMC, UL, CE, FCC, and radio standards Knowledge of product manufacturing Basic knowledge of mechanics and software development Fluency in technical English (TOEIC score: >750) Analytical and synthesis skills Good interpersonal skills and a keen team player
