Connexus is growing and hiring an Electronics Manufacturing Technician to support our Laser Production Team. Reporting to the Production Manager Electronics.

Responsibilities Include:

• Manufacturing of Connexus Laser Product Line including Kitting, Assembly, Soldering, Potting, Testing, Calibration and Pack operations
• Adherence to regulatory requirements (ISO, CSA)
• Completing documentation related to production
• Quality Control functions such as Incoming Inspection, In-process Inspection, Ship Lot Audit
• Troubleshooting and repair of in-process and customer returns
• Other duties as required

Skills and Requirements:

• Experience working in an Electronics Manufacturing environment (1-2 years preferred)
• Hand soldering skills and knowledge of IPC Electronics Standards (IPC certification an asset)
• Testing, calibration and troubleshooting experience with Laser Products as an asset
• Able to use a variety of hand tools
• Knowledge of ESD, ISO, and CSA regulatory requirements preferred
• Experience working in a LEAN/5S manufacturing environment preferred
• Time management, organization, and attention to detail skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely
• A valid passport and ability to travel freely to the US (short-term requirement)
