Job Duties:
Assembly of various electronic systems and sub-assemblies
Electronics potting using epoxy resins.
Printed circuit board assembly and repair.
Testing and inspection of electronic components and assemblies using basic equipment and customized test sets.
Kitting of components, organizing and tracking work orders
Assist with ensuring adequate and correct components are on hand to build required assemblies
Participate in quality control measures prior to shipment of electronic goods.
Improve, develop, and document assembly processes.
Maintain an organized work area, keeping tools and equipment in working order.
Organize and manage workload to meet production deadlines.
Qualifications:
A diploma in electronics technology a strongly preferred.
Minimum of 2-3 years experience with electronic assembly in a production environment preferred
Must have at least 1 year of soldering experience with small components and assemblies in an production environment
Knowledge and experience with basic electronic test equipment
Experience with electro-mechanical assembly and electronic potting
Competent in electronics repair and troubleshooting
Ability to interact with other staff members with professionalism and a positive manner.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Strong organizational skills and good attention to detail
