Job description Full Time Entry Level Electronics Testing Technician

- Evaluate, test and/or repair circuit boards according to a defined Test Procedure and
testing schedule
- Assist Engineering Department with the evaluation and documentation of new prototype
circuits / Firmware / Software / Products according to Engineering Specifications
- Assist in providing Telephone Technical Support once knowledgeable with proprietary
communications equipment
- Assist in Training once knowledgeable on proprietary communications equipment
Candidates Must
- Have strong communication skills and be fluent in speaking and writing in English
- Have graduated and possess a post-secondary education electronics course diploma
- Be able to pass a basic preliminary electronics test
- Be proficient in the use of Digital Multi-meters, Oscilloscopes and Function Generators
- Be able to read analog and digital circuit schematics
- Be comfortable working with Microsoft Operating systems and Microsoft Office
Software
- Be able to attend, complete and pass an in house factory training on proprietary
telecommunications equipment/software during the probationary period
- Have a valid Canadian passport or be able to attain a passport during the
probationary period
Additional Skills Preferred but Not Required
- Knowledge in the use of hand tools (i.e., Cable termination tools)
- Basic knowledge of Ethernet Networks (more network knowledge is an asset)
- Communications equipment installation experience
- Computer installation and service experience an asset Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: From $35,000.00 per year COVID-19 considerations:
