DUTIES:
Under the authority of the Head of Department of Biomedical Engineering and Information Technology, the Department carries out the installation, troubleshooting, calibration, construction and modification of electronic telecommunications equipment. The person is called upon to work on telephony equipment (landline, specialized line and cellular), radio systems, satellite internet systems and security cameras. She also participates in the development and implementation of optimization and preventive maintenance programs for telecommunications equipment. The person will be called upon to carry out work in northern communities. Must be available for emergency care on rotation evening, night and weekends. Qualifications Hold a college diploma (DEC) in electronics technology with a specialization in telecommunications or in another appropriate college discipline from a school recognized by the appropriate ministry or a Diploma of Collegial Studies (DCS) combined with a relevant undergraduate university certificate or an Attestation of Collegial Studies (ACS) of 800 hours or more combined with experience relevant to the field concerned; A university education is a major asset; Relevant three (3) years of experience in installation/repair and preventive maintenance of electronics equipment; Holding a valid BSP (Bureau de la s\xc3\xa9curit\xc3\xa9 priv\xc3\xa9e) licence in electronic security systems is required for security camera systems;
