We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronic Service Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities
Problem solving and troubleshooting of equipment that CSEL sells.
Diagnosing and testing electrical and mechanical issues and components.
Emergency support for equipment.
Routine and pre-seasonal maintenance as per maintenance schedules and contracts.
Warranty/product support - modifications/upgrades to products as directed.
Start-up and commissioning of CSEL Equipment.
Provide appropriate reports for all on-site service calls and telephone support.
Liaison with the customers to set up appointments with the customers for machine servicing and troubleshooting.
Training of operators.
Assistance with maintaining inventory and customer orders of parts and suppliers for Sortex machinery as required.
Perform additional servicing of any other equipment sold by CSEL as required.
Significant travel is required and will involve overnight stays at a hotel near the customer's sites. This generally is weekday travel, being back home by Friday evening.
Provide excellent communication and reports to customers, management, and other engineers.
Be recognized as a company-wide technical resource.
Provide sales support as required for demonstrations, presentations, and tradeshows.
Possible travel to the USA for training and to help with customer demonstrations.
Continuous learning involving knowledge of all machine software operating systems.
Perform other duties as required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
