Electromechanical Technician

Job Brief:



ACME is looking for a skilled electromechanical technician to work on our boiler and strainer product lines. The candidate will work on both electrical and mechanical assemblies under the supervision of the departments managers to ensure projects are built to ACME's quality standards. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the electromechanical field and must have a strong attention to details and quality.

Responsibilities:



Building electromechanical assemblies like boilers and strainers with high levels of quality.

Run wiring on production equipment.

Reading and understanding process documentation, bills of materials (BOM), drawings and electrical schematics to assemble panels and products.

Working in fast paced environment within a team to support process improvements and cross training initiatives.

Maintaining a clean, organized workspace meeting 5S requirements.

Adhering to all Health and Safety rules and regulations associated with the position.

Maintaining quality as per our quality assurance program.

Any other duties that may be assigned.

Qualifications Required

:

Minimum five (5) years' experience in an electric and mechanic manufacturing environment.

Must have extensive mechanical and electric assembly experience.

Highly competent in the use of assembly tools, crimping tools, automated equipment, multi meters, with good hand-eye coordination for small sensitive components.

Ability to understand P & ID, 2D, and 3D CAD drawings are required.

Basic knowledge of motors, motor controllers, electrical wiring, low-high voltage systems is preferred.

Strong mechanical aptitude.

Certified Technician (CTech) or General Education Degree (GED).

Proficient with computers as well as the capability to learn various programs a must.

Knowledge of quality management systems, such as ISO:9001, is an asset.

Well organized, team player with good communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: From $18.42 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
