About the position
As a dynamic start-up, we are seeking individuals who are motivated by the technical challenge, and the societal benefit of our technology.As a core member of the cross-functional technology team, the candidate will be uniquely positioned to influence the development and implementation of technologies. Ideal candidates must:
- Have a good understanding of what it takes to bring a product to market.
- Be able to interact with clients and end users, including occasional travel.
- Be focused on seeing the big picture while also solving highly specific technical challenges.
- Take ownership and initiative of projects.
- Demonstrate persistence and have a do-what-it-takes attitude.
- Experience in taking a product from design to manufacturing.
- In-depth knowledge of and experience with electro-mechanical systems.
- Engineering documentation processes and working within a PDM framework.
- Experience with sensor/component selection and packaging.
- Excellent knowledge of CAD software (Solidworks preferred).
