Purpose Statement

The Electromechanic Technician is responsible for the Preventative Maintenance / Troubleshooting / Electromechanical repairs of all production related equipment to ensure effective and efficient processes. Specific responsibilities will include the electrical aspect of the filling lines.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform Preventative Maintenance / Troubleshooting / Electromechanical repairs of all production related equipment including but not limited to: autoclaves, parts washers, bioprocessing systems, CIP / SIP systems, TCU systems.
• Specific responsibility includes preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and electromechanical repairs of the filling and packaging lines.
• Support Utilities and Maintenance Manager in the timely resolution of deviations and CAPA\'s.
• Record scheduled maintenance tasks by completion of forms and documentation.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Review and write maintenance procedures for production process systems as required.
• Ensure that all work is performed in full compliance with GMP, SOPs, Working Instructions, codes, regulations and established safety standards.
• Recommend changes to designs, drawings and modifications of equipment or parts as required in conjunction with engineering and production.
• Support other areas of Utilities and Maintenance (ex: building technician, calibration) as required.

Qualifications:

• A College or recognized Electromechanical degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in the maintenance, repair and calibration of pneumatic, hydraulic or Electromechanical and low voltage electrical control components/systems, specifically production process systems within the biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Working knowledge of GMPs, Pharmaceutical or similar regulated industry experience preferred.
• Experience in troubleshooting and repair of electronic equipment is a definite asset.
• Proven capabilities in planning and organization.
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to be self-motivated.
• Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual: French and English, both spoken and written.

• Effectuer la maintenance pr\xc3\xa9ventive / le d\xc3\xa9pannage / les r\xc3\xa9parations \xc3\xa9lectrom\xc3\xa9caniques de tous les \xc3\xa9quipements rattach\xc3\xa9s \xc3\xa0 la production, y compris, mais sans s\'y limiter, les autoclaves, les laveuses de pi\xc3\xa8ces, les syst\xc3\xa8mes de bioproc\xc3\xa9d\xc3\xa9s, les syst\xc3\xa8mes CIP / SIP et les syst\xc3\xa8mes TCU ;
• La responsabilit\xc3\xa9 sp\xc3\xa9cifique comprend la maintenance pr\xc3\xa9ventive, le d\xc3\xa9pannage et les r\xc3\xa9parations \xc3\xa9lectrom\xc3\xa9caniques des lignes de remplissage et de conditionnement mpaquetage ;
• Appuyer le gestionnaire des services et de la maintenance dans la r\xc3\xa9solution rapide des \xc3\xa9carts et des CAPA ;
• Consigner les t\xc3\xa2ches de maintenance planifi\xc3\xa9es en remplissant les formulaires et la documentation ;
• Utiliser le syst\xc3\xa8me informatis\xc3\xa9 de gestion de la maintenance (GMAO) ;
• Examiner et r\xc3\xa9diger les proc\xc3\xa9dures de maintenance des syst\xc3\xa8mes de proc\xc3\xa9d\xc3\xa9s de production, au besoin ;
• S\'assurer que tous les travaux sont effectu\xc3\xa9s en pleine conformit\xc3\xa9 avec les BPF, les PON, les instructions de travail, les codes, la r\xc3\xa9glementation et les normes de s\xc3\xa9curit\xc3\xa9 \xc3\xa9tablies ;
• Recommander des changements \xc3\xa0 la conception, aux dessins et aux modifications d\'\xc3\xa9quipement ou de pi\xc3\xa8ces, au besoin, en conjonction avec l\'ing\xc3\xa9nierie et la production ;
• Appuyer d\'autres secteurs des services et de la maintenance (p.ex.: technicien en b\xc3\xa2timent, \xc3\xa9talonnage au besoin.

Qualifications requises :

• Dipl\xc3\xb4me coll\xc3\xa9gial ou formation reconnue en \xc3\xa9lectrom\xc3\xa9canique ou l\'\xc3\xa9quivalent ;
• Minimum de 5 + ans d\'exp\xc3\xa9rience en maintenance, r\xc3\xa9paration et l\'\xc3\xa9talonnage de composants de commande pneumatiques, hydrauliques ou \xc3\xa9lectrom\xc3\xa9caniques ou \xc3\xa9lectriques basse tension ; en particulier les syst\xc3\xa8mes de proc\xc3\xa9d\xc3\xa9s de production dans l\'industrie biopharmaceutique, pharmaceutique ou de soins de sant\xc3\xa9 ;
• Connaissance pratique des BPF, de l\'industrie pharmaceutique ou de l\'industrie semblable r\xc3\xa9glement\xc3\xa9e de pr\xc3\xa9f\xc3\xa9rence ;
• Exp\xc3\xa9rience en d\xc3\xa9pannage et r\xc3\xa9paration d\'\xc3\xa9quipements \xc3\xa9lectroniques, un atout ;
• Capacit\xc3\xa9s d\xc3\xa9montr\xc3\xa9es en planification et organisation ;
• Initiative et capacit\xc3\xa9 d\xc3\xa9montr\xc3\xa9es \xc3\xa0 s\'auto-motiver ;
• Comp\xc3\xa9tences en informatique et connaissances de la plateforme MS Office
