Job summary

MAS is seeking an electromechanic for our Maintenance Department located in

Dorval

. In this role, reporting to the supervisor of Maintenance, the individual will be responsible for maintaining and preventing equipment breakdowns, and ensuring the proper operation of all production-related equipment.

Responsibilities

may include

Maintenance and repair of production machinery and equipment Cleaning and lubricating pumps, compressors and other equipment Locating and repairing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults Support the team in the installation, alignment, dismantling and relocation of various equipment Collaborate and support operations on different shifts and/or weekends to avoid production stoppages and optimize processes Carry out the preventive maintenance plan while taking all necessary steps to protect his/her own safety and that of colleagues, in compliance with OHS rules, policies and procedures. Maintain a clean work environment and report any problems

Qualifications required

Diploma in one of the following disciplines or equivalent: AEP, DEP or DEC in electromechanic Minimum 1 year relevant experience in industrial mechanics MIG/TIG welding Knowledge of
