Located in White Bear Lake, MN, our site is temperature controlled, creating a comfortable work environment - especially during the hot summer months and cold winters. We are looking for an individual who can provide technical maintenance support of automated manufacturing equipment to reduce any production losses from equipment or system failures. This position reports directly into the site Maintenance Supervisor.

\xc2\xb7 The anticipated hourly pay range for this role is: $27.00 - $34.00/hr. Actual compensation will be determined by considering demonstrable level of experience, skills, knowledge, and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance troubleshooting functions in select area with a primary focus on one of the following: Pleating equipment, hot melt machines, automated assembly/testing equipment.
Will work with operations team members and engineers to trouble-shoot issues and improve equipment performance. Friendly and approachable. Communicate clearly to achieve company goals.
Must have broad-based technical training or equivalent demonstrable experience in hydraulics, electronics, pneumatics, mechanics, schematic readings.
Assist with basic electronics/Programmable Logic Controls troubleshooting.
Interface with equipment vendors and contractors to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Must show competency in resolving problems and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Must be able to work with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software.
Must be a self-starter and work with a minimum amount of supervision.
Must understand and promote shop safety. Continuously practice safe work habits to keep accidents from happening. Must be aware of safety requirements to safely work alone, as well as in conjunction with other maintenance staff. (Lock out/Tag out procedures, etc.)
Must be able to train maintenance personnel and/or technicians when necessary.
Must be able to work with high voltage electricity safely.
Must communicate well with others in the Maintenance Department, as well as other departments.
All other duties that are asked by management to be done for the best interest of the company, its customers, and its employees.
All required tooling to perform the duties will be provided by Pentair.
Position hours/shifts (Overtime Available):
3:00 PM \xe2\x80\x93 11:30 PM (Mon \xe2\x80\x93 Fri)
Saturdays voluntary only
Education and Experience:
A high school diploma or equivalent and five years of directly related work experience OR a technical degree/certification.
Must have knowledge of PLC\xe2\x80\x99s and be able to program and troubleshoot them. Must be willing to continually upgrade skills and learn new technologies.
Preferred but not required:
A certificate or Associate of Applied Science degree in Industrial Controls/Robotics/Electronics, Electromechanical Technology
Associate degree or Apprenticeship in Industrial Maintenance Technology
Physical Demands/Work Environment
Must be able to perform strenuous physical labor and lift weights up to 35 pounds. Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 50 pounds. Steel toed shoes are required on the manufacturing floor.
