Electro-Mechanical assembler supports daily assembly production objectives and provide technical support during prototype testing and verification phases of product development in accordance with established procedures. It\xe2\x80\x99s also essential for an Electro-Mechanical assembler to be a critical thinker, analytical, problem solver and an organized person. 1- Job Related Duties & Responsibilities
Follow quality management system policies and procedures as per AS9100 International Standard,
Read, interpret and follow blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products.
Install electrical and electronic parts using soldering equipment.
Perform high quality of soldering meeting IPC-WHA-620 standard, Class 3 criteria
Verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments. Initiate the NCR process when material found non-conforming
Assist in adjusting and evaluation of incoming electromechanical components and assemblies to ensure conformance with product specifications and tolerances
Assist in evaluating failures and participate in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
Clear tooling faults in a timely and efficient manner using logic and adhere to established fault escalation procedures. Provide feedback of tooling performance after calibration and advise of maintenance plan if abnormal practice is found.
Actively participate in process improvement to maximize manufacturing process and optimize production output
Rework and/or repair assembled devices and products according to engineering specification changes
Maintain work place free of FOD and prevent ESD damage by adhering to 5S principals, following applicable policies and complete training required
Participate in all training required to meet customer expectation such as Customer specifications and others as recommended by department manager.
2- Training, Experience, Education and Skill Requirements
Technical school in Electromechanical or related fields or minimum of grade 12 or equivalent education with 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience demonstrating equivalent required knowledge and competencies
Highly skilled in soldering and wire harness assembly including stripping, crimping, splices, solder cups, Etc\xe2\x80\xa6
Comfortable working in fast pace, deadline driven environment.
Maintain certification of IPC-WHA-620 standards
Ability to read and interpret technical engineering Drawings, schematics, follow work instructions and work order specifications
Ability to install cables, connectors, electronic equipment, thermal solutions and labels using hand, measuring tools and Soldering equipment.
Demonstrate ability to work as a part of a team in a positive manner and multi task while keeping focus and attention to details
Good written and verbal command of the English language
Good computer skills and familiar with Microsoft office
Highly motivated, proactive, and willingness to take on new challenges and tasks.
Must be meticulous and able to work independently and safely.
Strong hand-eye coordination and proficiency in using tools like soldering equipment, crimpers, wire strippers, torque drivers, bore gauge, caliper, etc.)
Good mechanical aptitude and strong analytical skill to initiate new product introduction, NPI, with minimal details and supervision
Must possess good communication and documentation skills and the ability to train others
Problem solver who is able to work independently with minimal supervision
