The

Electro-Mechanic Apprentice

will receive hands-on training in NTE's electrical, mechanical, and automation service operations. This role is designed for individuals seeking to

develop technical expertise in electric motors, industrial automation, and control systems

, with the potential to grow into a

full-time technical or service professional

at NTE.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

:

Assist in the

repair, rebuild, and maintenance of electric motors and industrial equipment

under supervision. Support the

installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance

of automation and control systems, including PLCs, servo motors, and drives. Learn to perform

diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and technical inspections

on customer equipment. Follow

safety procedures, company standards, and quality practices

at all times. Shadow experienced technicians and participate in hands-on

training programs and workshops

. Maintain accurate records of work performed and report progress to supervisors.

Experience and Qualifications

:

Background or education in

industrial electrical mechanics

. Strong

work ethic

and commitment to the

industrial repair and field services

industry.

Detail-oriented, analytical, and solution-driven

mindset. Ability to work effectively in a

team environment

with

discipline and professionalism

.

Graduated in Nova Scotia

and eligible for the

Provincial Apprenticeship Program

(must be committed to a two-year program).

Fluent in English

(native speaker preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
