Perform preventative/predictive maintenance to all production equipment as required
Repair and replace electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic and electronic components such as motors, contractors, relays, timers, types of switches, PLCs, light curtains, motor controls and valves
Install, examine, replace and repair electronic wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components
Maintain production equipment to maximize operating performance
Perform installation, set up, modification and relocation of equipment
Read/write electrical and electronic schematics/diagrams, basic hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams
Able to read wiring diagrams, electrical/mechanical/pneumatic/hydraulic schematics and ladder/function block logic, you have working knowledge of industrial PCs and PLCs (Siemens Step 7, Beckhoff TwinCat, etc.) and electric circuitry consisting of contractors, relays, main voltage/control voltage, limit switches and proximity sensors
Qualifications
Certified Ontario electrician (442 A/309A or inter-provincial license)
Minimum 5 years\' experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment - troubleshooting, repairs, installations, preventative maintenance of electrical, mechanical, automated systems, robots, plc systems, servo drives, motion control, HMI interfaces, sensors, relays
Solid computer skills: MS Office, CMMS is an asset
Ability to work positively in a cross-functional team
Adhere to health and safety protocols
