Overview

Amps Powerline is looking for a Journeyman Electrician for work throughout Manitoba. Travel is required. Amps Powerline is a small but growing company and this position has many varying duties and responsibilities. All employees, including partners of the company are flexible and contribute to projects and the business function in many ways.

This position will include working from heights, high voltage line construction overhead and underground, transformer and secondary installations as well as training in testing and commissioning of electrical equipment.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in an industrial setting. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage applications. Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics. Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in electrical work. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid electrician's license or certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $40.00-$43.00 per hour
