Job Overview:
IIQAF Group is hiring a skilled and licensed
Electrician (Hospitality)
to support electrical installation, maintenance, and repair operations across hospitality properties, includinghotels, resorts, restaurants, and commercial facilities
. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience incommercial and hospitality electrical systems
, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with Canadian electrical codes.Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, inspect, and repair
electrical systems and equipment
Perform electrical work inhotels, resorts, restaurants, and hospitality facilities
Troubleshoot and resolveelectrical faults, wiring issues, and power failures
Conductpreventive maintenance
on electrical systems Read and interpretelectrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
Ensure compliance withCanadian Electrical Code (CEC)
and safety regulations Maintain accuratemaintenance and service records
Coordinate withfacility management and maintenance teams
Respond toemergency electrical issues
as required Follow workplacehealth, safety, and hospitality standards
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a
Electrician, Maintenance Electrician, or Commercial Electrician
Experience working in thehospitality or commercial sector
Strong knowledge ofelectrical systems, wiring, panels, and controls
Ability to diagnose and repair electrical issues efficiently Familiarity withCanadian electrical safety standards
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance teamPreferred Qualifications:
Red Seal Electrician certification
or provincial electrician license Experience inhotel or resort maintenance
Knowledge ofHVAC electrical systems and building automation
Flexibility to workshifts, weekends, or on-call schedules
