Perform predictive and corrective maintenance on facility assets and complete scheduled preventative maintenance, to ensure the highest degree of reliability in a safe and cost effective manner.

Demonstrate an absolute commitment to safety.

Perform time critical repairs on packaging and production equipment.
-
Assist engineering and maintenance with projects and equipment upgrades.
-
Maintain, repair, upgrade, install and test electrical controls and equipment.
-
Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications.
-
Maintains record of work performed on a daily log sheet and preventative maintenance documents.
-
Ensure all Health and Safety regulations are followed as per regulations.

Follow directions from the Maintenance Lead and Manager.

Other duties as assigned.YOUR PROFILE-
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an industrial environment.
-
Journeyman Electrician Certification (442A or 309A).
-
Food processing background is considered an asset.
-
PLC Programming and troubleshooting skills - would be an asset.

Ability to read, interpret, and appropriately apply diagrams, OEM manuals, schematics, and blueprints.

Experience installing and maintaining power distribution systems, automation systems, lighting, and building wiring.
-
Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
-
Flexible work schedule to work 12-hour continental shift rotation and open to on-call shifts including overtime.

Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Demonstrate punctuality, reliability, and willingness to learn while role-modeling Nortera\'s Core Values.

Must meet minimum dexterity requirements of this position: bending, twisting, reaching, lifting, crouching, kneeling, standing, walking, sitting, etc.
