Electrician

This role requires an Electrician with a diverse set of skills and abilities, including electrical, hydraulics, power distribution, calibrations and services. Diagnostics, service and repairs to our vast fleet of engine driven as well as electric and cordless welding equipment as well as customer owned equipment. Custom build's of electrical distribution equipment, repairs to electrical and non electrical equipment. Service, repair, and certifications on our entire rental fleet and network of customer owned equipment will also be needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain a clean and organized work station; Must have a valid Industrial Electrician's license for the related location required; Troubleshoot and estimate costs of repairs; Perform excellent diagnostic and failure analysis skills; Verify and inspect rental equipment to ensure proper functionality and to detect faults to avoid malfunctions; Perform diagnostic and failure analysis skills; Maintain advanced knowledge and experience with Residential and Industrial wiring for voltages ranging from 12V low voltage to 600V 3 phase; Read and understand service manuals, parts breakdowns, and wiring diagrams; Carry out Warranty claims with our vendors and handle warranty reporting; Maintain advance knowledge and experience in welder repair and power distribution circuitry and termination; Custom builds of various power distribution stations, cables and transformer hook ups; Maintain and service our complete rental fleet of equipment; Complete necessary paperwork as well as complete inspection forms through our internal portals; Maintain advanced knowledge and Experience with Electrical Codes and Safety practices; Travel across North America for various training sessions and seminars. As well as repair work to our fleet or Customer owned assets; Perform task with strong attention to detail with strong time management skills; Possess a valid G license; Must have own tools; Shop related tooling is provided; Some onsite repairs and assistance may be required; Perform other duties as required.

Key Qualifications:

Must be a fully licensed Electrician; Excellent diagnostic and failure analysis skills; Advanced knowledge and experience with Residential and Industrial wiring for voltages ranging from 12V low voltage to 600V 3 phase; Advance knowledge and Experience in welder repair and power distribution circuitry and termination; Must be able to travel across North America for various training sessions and seminars. As well as repair work to our fleet or Customer owned assets; Advanced knowledge and Experience with Electrical Codes and Safety practices; Attention to detail with strong time management skills; A valid G license is required.
